Emily Wynne-Hughes was one of the last night’s contestants who got the green light to go further in American Idol Season 8 TV show. Formerly working in the beauty salon where Britney Spears got rid of her hair, going into all world’s media attention, Emily was previously on TV, in an interview about Britney Spears’ shaving off. At last summer’s auditions in Phoenix, Emily sang Barracuda, managing to draw the attention and to captivate the audience. Probably her flamboyant red hair helped her in this attempt, but everything that matters now is that she’s here, and she’s in for the big American Idol 2009 show. Will she be the next winner? Only time will tell.

Nevertheless, her evolution up to now indicates Emily Wynne-Hughes as a serious contestant. She’s been already featured in a commercial for American Idol 8:
